Brian and I are reading this book by Dan Simmons called “The Terror” about the notorious failed Franklin expedition in the 1840s to find the North-West Passage from Europe to Asia. It is so scary I can’t handle it—it’s just like this picture but much, much scarier and grosser and more horrible… and it’s been giving me crazy dreams (especially now because we’re almost done the book). 3 nights ago, I dreamt about cannibal people cutting meat off a motionless live man like it was soft butter, then 2 night ago I dreamt about harassing a 8-point buck so much it lunged at me but landed in a swimming pool, and then last night I dreamt I was sticking burning yoga blocks to the ceiling of my parents’ dining room and then eating and spitting out little tiny humans fried in dough like funnel cake in some marketplace in a foreign country.
i had a dream chris and i turned into dolphins and a pool we were skateboarding in turned into the ocean and i raced him?
